FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT DISCLOSURE / CONDOMINIUM TENANT SCREENING DISCLOSURE
In connection with your application for approval to lease and/or occupy a unit within the Condominium Association (the “Association”), the Association, its Board of Directors, its property manager, and/or its designated screening provider may obtain a consumer report and/or investigative consumer report concerning you.
This screening is conducted pursuant to the Association’s authority under Chapter 718, Florida Statutes, the Declaration of Condominium, and the Association’s duly adopted leasing and approval procedures.
A consumer report may include information regarding:
- Credit history and credit standing
- Criminal history records (local, state, and federal)
- Eviction filings and landlord-tenant court records
- Civil judgments and public records
- Identity verification and residence history
These reports are obtained in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and applicable Florida law.
